It's never about "speed". It's about safety! Just because someone can whip around backwards like a freekin' idiot, doesn't mean he's doing it safe! That's just pure show-off and stupid in my opinion. Although that set-up is in a controlled environment, so under the circumstances presented here, it's OK.
But to do something like that in a camp ground with kids and pets and bicycles and trees and other campers and other vehicles blocking, even parked in your spot sometimes, and single lane roads and low hanging trees and electric shore power posts and fire pits to navigate around is quite a different matter.
If that same driver had a tandem axle trailer (not a single axle) that is 35 feet long, make that tow vehicle 22 feet long with dual rear wheels, and invest over $100,000 of his own money into a trailer and tow vehicle and see how fast and nimble that driver becomes! Take him off a completely cleared parking lot with rubber cones as guides, give him obsticles that have to be navigated around with it's raining hurricane strength force, with windows fogged, rain covered, or AT NIGHT! And see how proficient he becomes!
