I don't want it getting broken at all. I jack up one side, put jack stands under it, take those two off and take 'em to the tire store for mount and balance. Bring them back, put them on, then repeat for the other side.
This way I know it's done right and the lugs torqued the way I want them too.
BINGO, that is exactly how I have done it for the last 30 years and many, many tire change outs even for two when on the road when stopped at a CG. I did all four back in 1995 when dry camping in a cow pasture on Campus next to the Athletic fields when at a Penn State Football game for the weekend.
