Tire shop while I watch
That's what I did. I also gave the tire rep at the beginning a lecture on making sure the guy in the shop did NOT jack on the axles. I watched, and he used floor jacks on the frame both in front of the front axle, and behind the rear axle, lifting both tires up at once.
What is your procedure for a flat on the road?
I use the scissor jacks immediately in front and behind the tandem axles. They are mounted to the frame and clearly state not for lifting, but I lift with them anyway. The scissor jacks I have are stronger then the ones that have come supplied with many of my vehicles, I believe the warning is there for two reasons (both of which do not apply to me)
Reason 1) Some people mount them on the trailer in a place not suited for lifting and therefore will damage the trailer (mine are at the jacking points)
Reason 2) Scissor jacks can collapse, they are not designed to have people moving around inside the trailer and putting excess movement / stress onto them. (mine do not lift when camping, just stabilize)
