If you're referring to Craigslist, that is a pipe dream in most cases. Every locale that I've searched it seems as if the dealers will post their obvious DEALER ads in the PRIVATE listing section. The local dealer to my house has someone on staff that does nothing but place their entire inventory on Craigslist. One days worth of Craigslist ads will be 98% theirs.
And not just rv's as it's the same deal in the cars and truck sections too.

I have been looking for a Stand up paddleboard and when I go on "boats" I always type in "by owner"
It ends up that most of what comes up is by dealers. Either that or some one with the same phone number has about ten different Paddleboards they are selling !
