At the risk of being accused of nitpicking (or any number of other dastardly offenses :R ) I'd suggest you forget about this idea of physically pushing your trailer away from the tow vehicle and into the position you want it. Can you do it with a small trailer, on a particularly smooth surface? ... sure, I guess you could BUT I'm pretty sure the vast majority of us do it the most conventional way - back or pull the trailer into position with the tow vehicle, level it side-to-side as necessary with your preferred leveling method, chock the tires on both sides so the trailer can't inadvertently shift or roll away, and then unhitch. Sometimes pushing the trailer, sometimes not, sometimes placing the chocks before you unhitch, sometimes not, just confuses the issue ... adopt one single method that works for every situation and you won't ever make a mistake. :)
