The furnace runs off gas. Based on this statement, with all do respect, you have a lot to learn and probably should not be camping in extreme situations until you learn more about a RV.
I have to disagree. apparently you have forgotten that the furnace also runs off 12v as well as propane. And if it is ok for you to forget that. It is ok for him to think that the fan on the furnace along with a electric heater may trip the breaker.
To the OP. It is OK that you don't know every little thing about your RV. You will learn, and the only way to learn is to do. I have been camping for more than 30 years, and I learn something every trip. Any one that says they don't, Is not telling the truth.
