How to store truck tailgate when off truck

I can't take credit for the idea as I found it on here but can't locate the original post. I slapped this together with misc 1x4 and 2x4 lumber lying around. It's at a comfortable height so I don't have to bend down after removing the tailgate from the truck. The bottom of the rack where the tailgate sits is covered in carpet and the arm is held in place at the top with a dowel. It saves floor space and lets me park the truck in the garage with the tailgate off.
