How to turn off outside speakers on a Arctic Fox 811

I agree, the stereo system in my AF 1140 is nothing but confusing for me and my wife. It works good but I hate the thing. I dont understand why they cant use a more simplified unit. Even back in 2010 when I took the Northwood factory tour, our guide told the group that they were switching over to a more simple to use unit since they were aware of the complaints that they were getting from customers and dealers. I dont think that ever happened.
