On our trip to FL in February we had head and side wins of 10 to 15 mph every day. It really messes up the mileage. :( We did have wind gusts the evening news reported to be of 25 to 30 mph that would buffet the TT.
My trailer is only 26 feet so it does not have the exposer of the bigger units. I doubt I would haul in a sustained 25 mph or 30 mph wind or more powerful gusts.
While I would not call them scary, wind buffet can be very annoying. I would quit driving long before they became scary.:B
