Funny, I have a 2011 F250, 6.7, Lariet and my payload rating in 2100+. Less that your 150. So beware, the "go to the 3/4 ton can be misleading.
Exactly and it's been that way since 1975 when Ford came out with the HD 1/2 ton called the F-150 that even at that time had a payload up to 2200lbs,properly equipped.
Just because it is a 3/4 ton does not mean it has more payload or tows better "unless" properly equipped which goes for all the trucks rated by the outdated ton stamp.
When so called 1/2 ton vehicles exceed a ton and a half in payload,they shouldn't be called a 1/2 ton.:?
