My Tundra is rated around 1500 lbs. I don't think its going to fall apart if I load it to 1800 lbs (20% over my payload) and drive a 2000 mile round trip to Florida. Explain how your pickup knows that you have unused CCC capacity and benefits from it? I say that if it is overloaded by 300 pounds, then it is overloaded by 300 pounds and has no idea why.
