My theoretical Tundra with a GCWR of 16,000 lbs makes you cringe, but most people on here wouldn't bat an eye to a F350 dually (gas engine) with a GCWR of 22,500...
Sorry, but I think you are fooling yourself if you believe your say 7K GVWR truck can stop 16K as well as my 9.5K GVWR Van can stop the same 16K.

Larry... please read what I wrote. Obviously the larger brakes of your truck would stop the same exact weight better than the Tundra. That is not even remotely close to what I said.
I said that a Tundra with a total weight of 16,000 is likely to stop as well as a F350 with 22,500 lbs. I am comparing both vehicles at their max GCWR. The reason I am comparing them is to point out what I believe to be the fallacy of your argument...
You seem to think that your truck and trailer are adequate to safely tow and stop your rig. You feel that way because you are within your rated numbers and you have confidence in the federal testing standards.
If your vehicle is safe within its ratings based upon federal testing... WHY ISN'T MINE?
