It really has nothing to do with a gasser, A V-10, a Diesel. It's more about experience. And knowing your limits. And being considerate of others on the road. A big difference between towing a 13,000 pound high profile 5'r or an 8,000 pound low profile TT. So you might not be aware.
I get that, but that's just basic towing. You made it sound like you were Captain Kirk taking the enterprise into a black hole with the wife screaming, trans temps rising, and beads of sweat on your forehead....LOL...I'm not sure that any V-10 powered vehicle is rated to tow 13k lbs anyway...
