I remember reading an article about the Dodge Durango hybrid, it used the GM 2-mode hybrid system just like in the Tahoe and Silverado. I assume the GM trucks would be the same, but they said the GCWR was limited by the ability of going in reverse, because it was electric only when backing up. 3.0Charlie, do you know if this is true?
I thought about getting a hybrid Tahoe, but as my kids get bigger and we consider a larger trailer down the road, we'd be overloaded eventually.
