1. I bought the truck used, same price as the MY '10 1500 that was sitting next to it.
2. Battery life in the early Sierra models is approx. 10 years from the research I did. Since MY '09, the battery has been replaced along with the new Hybrid System design, and is under warranty for 8 years. Battery replacement is 2000$ CAN.

I don't know why all this bashing for a TV that none of you have driven, or more importantly related to this website, actually towed with. The OP wanted feed-back about towing with the truck. I gave him the rundown he wanted.
