And for the OP, and others with newer vehicles back in the land of corrosion. Keeping the undercarriage painted (cheap and easy with rattle cans) and/or hitting the bottom an crevasses with oil spray goes a long ways towards preserving a vehicle.
I purchased the truck with 23,000 miles in 2010, just rolled 55,000 miles. That is the undercoating that was on there when I got it.
I have a fuel filter just have not changed it yet. I know I know... It was an Air Force truck. For the first 8 years of its life it lived on McCord. Titus Will is consignment for the Government that is where I found it. I paid 12,900 for it in 2010.
I have not touched up or painted anything on it.
