So true, I was speaking with a guy at FW campground last year. He was pulling a fifth wheel similar to mine with a 1/2 ton truck. While I don't like to put others down in what they chose to drive, I just struck up conversation about payloads. Granted he has pulled campers for a while but it amazes me that not a lot of people are concerned about payload. Sad that dealers whether be truck or RV sales always say: "it will pull that". And so many of these guys don't realize when you cowboy ur truck up and raise it to the sky... well you lost both payload and power especially with big tires.... but "it will pull that".
