Sorry, it is not red or blue. It is a Champion 75531i, 3100 max watts, 2800 rated watts. Weighs about 85 pounds and is rated at 58db. I can pick it up and set it in the pickup by myself, it started...

From your posts it would appear that a nerve was pinched!
While you raise good a good point regarding possibly disabled folk needing generators to be running all the time, I have 2 points to make:
- The people who I have seen with their "don't-give-a-s**t" attitude with regard to generators are NOT disabled - I see them watching their TVs outside, listening to their usually cr*p music, etc. and running all kinds of appliances as if they were home. These are the same idiots who have no regard for quiet time and have no control of their rgrats running wild all over the place including through your campsite
- If folk are disabled then maybe they need to STILL be considerate of others and camp like JimInDenver - away from others - so that their 24/7 generator is not heard by anyone but them. The rights of one does not trump the rights of the many.
That said, I have personally no issue with generators being run during regular hours because it is a more soothing noise that the people in item 1 above.
I think that this thread is starting to die down anyway. Suffice it to say there are some that have/use generators and then there are those who don't. That won't change in this thread.
