Have fun. I guess I’m surprised that it designed to be used indoor. Must be similar to catalytic heaters that don’t produce CO.
Yes, but they produce lot of CO2, who will kill you as well.
With LED lights simply sipping electricity, why so much hassle?
Are you trying to kill yourself Specta? - NRALIFRExplorerYup, crack a window and a roof vent. Same thing you need to do with a Wave or Buddy heater. If you don’t provide a means of replacing the oxygen that the lamp is burning, it will produce carbon monoxide when the oxygen level gets too low.
:):) - Buzzcut1Nomad IIpage one of their manual says use in vented rooms only, carbon monoxide is produced by incomplete combustion of fuel

Use it per instructions and it’s safe.
If you don’t get it, it’s no big deal.
:):) - JimK-NYExplorer IIIn a million years I would have never looked for such an item. It requires plumbing for a propane gas line and if it is anything like a Coleman lantern it is going to put out lots of heat and will be a fire hazard while also consuming oxygen. All to avoid LED lights which are easy to install, are safe, put out no heat and consume very little electricity.
There must be some reason I just don't understand. - jimh406Explorer IIIHave fun. I guess I’m surprised that it designed to be used indoor. Must be similar to catalytic heaters that don’t produce CO.
- LwiddisExplorer III remember those. Faded out in the early 70s?
