If that is the typical case, it may be wise and more cost effective for owners to just replace the fuel pump at between 90k and 100k miles.
Lots of guys are putting CP3 comversions on their LML Dmax. It's a bit pricey though. Also requires tuning.
First few years probably in that order have had more CP4 failures reported but they've also go more mileage. Reports on newer '15 trucks "feels" low but it's still early. The pump on the '15 looks physically different and had an obvious re-design.
