Looks like you've done your homework. Try to get actual trailer weights off the yellow sticker they come from the factory with. That will give you a better number than the brochure weights. You can estimate how much weight you will put in it to get an approximate tongue weight or use the trailer GVWR to find the max number. The average is around 12 percent of trailer weight carried on the tongue. If the trailer you're looking at is 4k GVWR you should be fine.
