I would never consider a 5er over a TT. My knees are shot so I don't want to climb stairs just to get to the bathroom. I also have pulled many bumper pull trailers (but never a 5er) and they are extremely easy to pull and back up. Our TT has lots of storage space and I still have the truck bed with a hard, locking cover. We use it for short and long trips (many an hour away but some cross country). We might even full time in it after we don't need to help with baby sitting our grandson (one more year and our DDIL will quit working). With all of that said, I would have at least considered a 5er if I didn't have any knee problems.
