I now have training wheels!

Its been a wish of mine for a while now to have a 3500 dual wheel pickup. My 2500 has done well with our 10klb trailer for years but the bug has bit us to go a little bigger. I figured start with the truck and then the camper. So I found exactly what I wanted in a new left over 2014 Ram 3500 up in Tulsa at a fantastic deal. The DW and I made a day of it and took the trip up there. We drove a 14 and 15 equipped just alike and could not tell any difference inside or out except about a $16k price difference. This thing rocks! It rides better than my 08, has more power and the Aisin trans is spot on in up and down shifts compared to the 08. The 2 stage exhaust brake is much better and the LED lighting inside and out is awesome. After getting all the goodies on it this weekend I thought I would post a few pics. Waiting on my new B & W 3600 hitch is killing me because I can't wait to pull something!

    Op here. My new B&W 3600 hitch came in yesterday so I installed it last night and put a couple of pics in the towing section under New Ram B&W hitch. Sorry, not sure how to do a link on here.

    Very nice truck congratulations. I rode in a new 2015 GM dually a couple months ago and was sure impressed with the ride. I might need to graduate to a dually as well next time.....

    Beautiful truck! You are going to love it; I love mine and that is after owning Fords for 20 years.

    Beware though, the larger RV follows along very quickly! We just bought a 36' fifth wheel to go with ours.

    And you answered a question for me on the wheels. I had posted it over in the vehicle photo area, and appears I guessed right that they were American Racing wheels.


    I had those same wheels on my 2003 Chevy dually. Surely improved the appearance over the ugly factory wheels that vehicle came with.

    A hint for you. Go to an auto parts store and buy the large and small sizes of the Mothers brand Power Ball. Oh does it make polishing those wheels an easy task. Attaches right to your electric drill. Bought mine years ago just for those wheels I bought for my then tow vehicle mentioned above.
