That isn't "redneck", it's what you want and happy with. We all are entitled to have what we want as long as it doesn't actually harm others. If other don't like what you are happy with, tough do-do.
I design and make my own stuff because I can and i'm not happy with most of the commercial designs, the very thin barely strong enough on a good day materials used, and the construction of most boughten products. Cheap price doesn't influence me or us as we demand that our items last longer than we will and are well thought out for comfort and safety. The average American product purchaser is swayed the most by price and secondly the looks as in glitz and glamour and therefore find themselves deserving the results they experience.
