That is a very nice looking trailer. You don't give much info as to how many people will be using it or how often you will use it or how far you will be towing it, or anything. You definitely have a big enough truck to pull it and at 23' it does not seem large to me at all. I would use it this year and if you still feel that way at the end of the year sell it or trade it in for something smaller; but give it a chance. You will be surprised just how confining a trailer can be when the weather is bad and you are stuck in it for a few days.

Does anyone have any opinions on the Minilite aluminum trailers, I think they're called Living Lite. That may be less of a tow for my family and load.

Might try the 16-18 ft with the rear door with closets on your left as you walk in. One of my favorite floor plans in a smaller trailer.... Lance 1685 as example. I've owned two just like it without the slide and it works well for two people.

but I'm finding that the quality isn't very good on the trailer.

As it relates to RV's, many of us understand that "quality" and "RV" probably should not be used in the same sentence. There are exceptions like Airstream and a few others.

As for the size, it gets smaller the longer you use it and the longer a trailer is the easier it is to back it up. Go practice some and it will become second nature to you after a dozen camping trips.

People tend to get hung up on the fit and finish when what they need to be looking at is real things like the floor, roof, electrical and plumbing. A piece of trim can be adjusted, the rest of it isn't so easy to fix.

If a person is looking for "quality" in a "RV" in this price range, they are possibly going to be disappointed no matter what brand or size.

As I often say, "some assembly required". Enjoy the tinkering, as there are plenty of things you can do in your own driveway to enhance the quality of your RV. All part of the fun.
