I drove our last trailer at 70 or 75 quite often with ST tires for 9 years. I had to plug on because it got a screw in it. This trailer has has ST tires from some third world country and I found a staple in one after about 25,000 miles. I had it patched a ran it about a year before I got a replacement tire.
If I get better tires maybe I won't get screws or staples in them.
