You're relying on other people's judgement. There will be exceptions.
What happened to your tire can't necessarily be connected to the tire's quality or Forum tire advice. AFAIK, no manner of failure diagnosis was done to the tire. You could have had an air valve break or nail hole, the tire deflated, and the excess heat and force ruined the tire.
