This proves my point that much of this China Bomb Myth has to do with Jingoistic and Nationalistic feelings and unfounded fears with a pretty good dose of "Anti Chinese feelings" thrown in.
Fact: 32 MILLION tires were imported from China to the US in 2012. Does any thinking person really believe that a vastly higher percentage of them are experiencing problems than those made in Thailand or Indonesia Like the Revered MAXXIS?
And consider this: Factories in China are generally of higher quality, Higher tech and better certified than similar ones in SE Asia where Maxxis is made. Further the Chinese workforce is better educated, better motivated, more literate and better paid than their Thai or Indonesian counterparts.
Now who would you rather have producing your tires?
You are perpetuating a Myth that does nothing more than result in Higher prices for trailer tires to appeal to the "China Bomb" crowd.
Now you might ask how do I know these things? I spent years importing from and exporting to China from SE Asia, I have been all over China in many factories of many kinds, I have also been in factories in Thailand, Indonesia and Lao PDR as well as Singapore, Taiwan and Japan. I think I have AT LEAST as much experience as the next guy in this area. This mindless fear and bashing of China is just ignorance writ large.
