There is absolutely nothing to keep a person from running LT tires on their TT if they want to. Many people do.
If knowing that you are wiser then the TT and Tire industry makes you sleep better at night go for it.
Likewise you can add them to your TV and show those truck engineers a thing or two about those dreaded "P" tires.
