Ice on Roof

I have about an inch on roof of 23B. It is also under a tree that is dripping ice and leaves. I had the trailer level but have tilted it to lean forward so ice will run down front when it melts. It is only 37 today. Tomorrow will be 45 Tonite is going to be 29 and the drips of melting ice will refreeze and add more weight. I am worried but the dealer said it will be ok. Any comments?
  • While antifreeze is a good idea there's room for ice to expand in the P-traps so you're probably OK. Water tends to vibrate out of them on the road and they may be dry anyway. (Twist locking the sink stoppers closed on the road keeps the stink from the waste water tank from entering the trailer.)

  • I go nose high just like Padlin. We have front and side bunks. Mine is three feet longer with bunkbeds across the back. I park it under covered storage December thru March. Northeast PA can be 15 or 50 any day between November and April. Snow any time between Oct and third week of April. Freeze/thaw hazards all winter long.
