I put a magnet behind clear tape on the wall, and another near the top of the garbage can. The two click together and hold the can on the wall nicely.
The bathroom door swings open, so I added a magnet just before the door stop, and another on the door. Now it stays just off the fully open position and the magnetic attraction holds them about 1/8 inch apart.
And finally, we wanted a removable shelf a few inches above the table on the window side. It gets taken down when we seat four at the table. Two door stops for legs, and a magnet strip to hold the shelf in place.
