I don't see cutting a hole in the door or cutting a hole in the roof of a 2014 camper.
I've done the ice/cooler thing and I spent around $150 on ice alone that trip, don't care to do that again. Not to mention the frig works great under normal conditions. At the beach it's in direct sunlight all day.
The biggest issue is being on the front row and the sand blowing, forcing me to keep the door shut.
