- pa_travelerExplorerTried one last time shut off disconnect switch and pulled electric plug hookup waited a good while. Then tried it again this time it worked. I unplugged everything before ,maybe I didn't wait long enough. Thanks for the help.
- Ski_Pro_3ExplorerFind the remote control board and check the fuse there. Since the problem is with BOTH the jacks and slide, it's most likely a primary power issue at the control board. If fuse is good, check the power that feeds the fuse. If that is good, try jumping the power to the slide wires directly. reverse voltage to get the slide or jacks to go in the opposite direction.
- campn4walleyeExplorerOur cord is attached/stored under the sink in the back of the compartment. It's long enough to stretch out the door. Check somewhere near your door in a compartment. Maybe yours is hidden too.
- pa_travelerExplorerThanks will try all of the above. I ripped camper apart cant find the plug in wire, hope its at home.Where can you buy the remote cord? They are atwood jacks Lance camper 1191 2011.Lesson learned this trip,im some how getting a replacement cord and going to practice manually extending slide.
- jimh406Explorer IIIWD40 or similar in the rocker switch on the camper. Yeah, I know it doesn't make sense, but I read it here and it worked for me, too.
- JumboJetExplorerShutoff all 12 VDC, wait a few seconds and try again. That means turn the 12 Volt DC master switch to off and unplug from shore power. That will reset the control board. I have had to do that about 3 times.
- campn4walleyeExplorerWe had the same trouble last year. Hook it up to the cord and use it that way and then try the remote.
DH says it makes no logical sense, but ours worked remotely thereafter. It's worth a try.
