If Time And Money Were No Object
My wife and I always talk about the route we'd take and the places we'd stay if time and money were no object. I know some folks around here are already living the dream...... But if time and money...

You all are making me feel good. We are planning a trip next summer that, for us, will be the trip of a lifetime. not that time and money don't matter, they do, very much. But we have planned this for some time and plan to retire Dec 23d of this year and leave in May, 2015 from central Indiana going west, northwest to Montana and up diagonally through whatever Canada we meet to Fairbanks. Then south and maybe a shore cruise or two and back inland a little to BC and down to visit old friends and family in the Northwest US. Then back home, by whatever route it takes.
We are not rich, but frugal (well the DW is the example) and we have pretty simple needs and can really scrimp when needed. Check signature for web site. (not updated very often, yet!) Another detail, we seldom say we are going to do "such-and-such". Some may call it fate or whatever, we prefer to say God-willing. Things do happen, and we believe for a reason. We try to plan stuff with this contingency and not get thrown for a loop. The motto we are trying to live by is, "Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape".
Above all, if you can do it, don't wait till you have all the money or all the time. Just do what you can to create your own happiness and don't wait for other people or circumstances to do it for you! Happy Trails!
