if trailer tires only good to 65mph, why not switch?

Going faster is NOT the reason to upgrade trailer tires.
Minimizing a potential for blow out is.

Fuel economy is big factor in not going faster

Towing safely is big factor in not going faster

Towing speed limits are lower for a reason

Getting 'there' 10 minutes sooner.......well it's been 'there' for a long time. It'll still be there when you get there. Otherwise leave 10 minutes sooner.
