These threads always confuse me.
Why is it 62mph or 65mph or whatever to poster happens to drive is safe and 75mph is magically unsafe.
Using this logic, we should all drive 55mph or even 45mph or less. I imagine somewhere there is speed where slower doesn't get any safer. And the difference in speed between cars and other slow drivers is a factor. Try driving the autobahn in places where there is no speed limit. It is quite a different experience when you are not used to it.
Now, I happen to drive 65mph, but that is what I feel comfortable driving my rig. As long as the rig is safe and they are driving safely, then why worry about what other drivers are doing.
Also, New Mexico is 75mph, but we are probably a bit behind the times since New Mexico only just passed a law against texting while driving.
