Why be in a hurry? Because I get to vacation only in summer.
Excuse me if I'm confusing you with somebody else, but don't you travel for a living, pulling a trailer full of textbooks???
I thought you were the same person that bought a "Lil' Snoozy" fiberglass trailer specially modified to provide room etc. for that purpose- are you that person, presumably with many tow miles under your belt, or am I thinking of someone else?
To clarify my situation, until the middle of last fall I was delivering books to schools in a 9 county area. Now my territory has been cut to just 3 counties, and my business mileage is down from 18,000 miles to just 11,000 miles per year. (Yes, I do use a Lil Hauley trailer to transport the books.)
Either way, I fail to see how anyone would equate this driving, towing a shell of a trailer filled only with books and display racks, to vacation travel.
Thanks- glad you evidently took no offense since none was intended by my question.
The threadtitle question's such a "newby" one that I really wondered if you were the same experienced person whose posts I follow at FiberglassRV; which conclusion I realized I'd only arrived at because you used to use the same avatar pic at that site. I enjoy your posts over there- you may remember that I came to your "defense" when you were more or less set upon by the Ethnic Cleansing crowd when they very dismissively and at great length pointed out to The Faithful that the Escape in your avatar pic was not to be confused with "The Real Thing".
Now that we've got that cleared up, may I ask which trailer the blowout you refer to in the threadstarter happened to? I remember this one, but it was on the Snoozy (the work trailer), and you attribute it to having struck a sharp rock on the road shoulder. Did you have a simple no-apparent-reason blowout, too, maybe on the Escape?
