if trailer tires only good to 65mph, why not switch?

This recent blowout was with the KZ Escape, on a smooth freeway near Springfield MO. Not going fast, either. We were just passing by a cop who was parked in the center median to watch traffic; I hope he didn't think someone was shooting at him! He did pull around behind us to check on us after we got over to the shoulder.
