I tow the speed limit whatever it may be. Where I live it's mostly 70mph on highways and 75mph interstate. My truck is solid and well maintained, trailer is solid and well maintained and I always keep my trailer brakes well adjusted.
I feel I can safely travel 75mph.
If you don't then drive slower.
I get 12.5 mpg travelling 75mph. Thats double what my old gasser would get. If I was worried about MPG I'd travel in a Prius and stay in a hotel.
These are my thoughts and opinions. Agree or disagree that is your choice.
