if trailer tires only good to 65mph, why not switch?

(off topic) DiskDoctr: would a proximity sensor connected to a blinking 3rd brake light work for tailgaters? So if someone pulls within 30-50 ft of the back of the TL it lights up or blinks...maybe enough to scare them to back off. (i.e. motorcycle brakes blink several times a second to get attention)
