They make 7,000#+ axles so I'm not as concerned about the weight it can carry as I am to the location of the axle. It sure looks like the axle is centered which means (depending on where everything is inside) that it would be easy to load it so that you wouldn't have adequate tongue weight. Besides, the amount of "swing" when turning with that long of overhang is bound to hit something.
