...and had a reasonable budget to do it with, what would you buy for towing a: A) 9000# TT B) 13000# 5er Assume weights are wet/loaded. . . . . Pick any brand/engine/gears you like. ...

There is no 2014 Suburban 2500. Therefore, you would need a big budget to have one made.
