...and had a reasonable budget to do it with, what would you buy for towing a: A) 9000# TT B) 13000# 5er Assume weights are wet/loaded. . . . . Pick any brand/engine/gears you like. ...

In my opinion a reasonable budget does not allow for $70K for a tricked out new truck like I would like to have.

Therefore my answer is that for both A and B I would keep the truck I have right now. She has an extra leaf in the rear and my TT now is 9K. For the 5er I would add air bags.
