I guess I disagree with the "lot harder to maneuver".
They turn the same, they handle the same. The only difference is that they are a little wider. The tow mirrors on a SRW are the SAME width as the ones on a DRW, and both are wider than the fenders on a dually.
about the only width concern is on a sharp corner, you need to take a little wider, so that the fenders do not clip anything.
Now, if you do not need a dually, I am not suggesting getting one! Just that if you are borderline deciding on SRW or DRW because of tow weight, do not let the little bit wider put you off.
