Based on your subject I thought you were wanting to push the 7,500lb mark with a GVWR of 7,500lb trailer. With a GVWR of 3500 or 6,000 any 1/2-ton will do.

Also, as a follow up on all the weight numbers, the door panel will have the vehicle GVWR and AWR information. The GCWR is in the manual, and attached are two photos from 2004 model year.
Shopping for suburbans, just make sure it has the tow package (transmission cooler) and I think you'll be fine with any of the trailers you're looking at.
