Thats not a bad price difference for 5 years newer and diesel. If you really want it, or if you need it, I would say go for it.
If you don't NEED the diesel and just kinda like that new car smell, I wouldn't spend unnecessary money... but I tend to be a cheap person.
I would think with the redesign and huge bump in power that is coming out for the new model that you might be able to get an even better deal on a leftover that a dealer is looking to get rid of. Lots of variables and moving parts if you go that route though. Again, if you don't NEED it you consider rolling the dice and looking for a leftover in a couple months.
