4x4 vs 2 wheel drive, gas vs diesel, 5 years newer, higher trim package, better resale/valuable truck, warranty, etc. I don't see how you don't see that's a good deal personally. Now I'm not saying he should buy it. That's his choice completely. But it is a very good deal.
