YA....OK!!! Let me just forget about the 8500 it will rake to fix it. I've taken this TT back to them 4 times to fix stuff and it wasn't stuff I found either. It was them calling me to return it so that they could fix the door again and replace the gray water tank because supposedly they ran their water from the service department into it and found out it was contaminated. So they had to have known that there was damage. At with one of those times their servic department had to have known that the damage was there. I am not going to just forget about the AS IS🤣😂.According to the research ive done and talking to different RV companies. Their supposedly to disclose that information even if it is an AS IS contract. The travel trailers in California run under the same guidelines as buying a mobile home as to where if something, like the waterheater doesn't work and they don't tell you and it blows up and floods your house then their liable. Especially if its not disclosed in the contract but yet they didn't even disclose it at the time of purchase but knew about it, then their liable for such damage.

You should re read this and pretend you didn’t type it. You’ll see the issue. You’re being a fool and being taken advantage of.
You are either posting some embellishment as click bait or getting suckered in big time. Stop that.
Yiuve turned a sticky door latch and some hump in the floor that you’ve forgotten to actually describe or explain into this huge worry and mess.
At this point you’re almost as much to blame as the dealer ripping you offf or trying to rip you off. Stop that and use some common sense even if knowledge is lacking. - StirCrazyJun 03, 2026Moderator
your situation suck, but many people have been in it before. unless get a lawyer and can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that they know about and didn't disclose dammage your sol. the hard part is to prove they know about it and hid it. all used campers are sold "as is" but if you get it from a dealer they usaly give you some sort of aftermarket insurance/warenty you can buy when you purchase your rv. I usaly recomend people buy some sort of aftermarket warenty even if it is only 1 year on a used one. deals with stuff like this. no one on the board is going to be able to realy help you with it, and I understand your venting because your pissed, but unless your willing to spend the money and take it to court, you have what you have. the company isn't going to come to you out of good will and cancle your contract or give you a new unit, or even fix a bunch of stuff for free, because unless you get a lawyer and can prove they misled you they are in the right with the contract.

I’m really sorry to hear you’re going through this and with no prior knowledge of how bad it might be to deal with CW.
But chalk this up to a learning experience to never trust a camper dealer and especially CW. They are 100% blowing expensive smoke up your azz unfortunately.
Objectively, I haven’t heard you talk about 1 actual real problem yet besides the door not closing good. (Assuming the hump in the floor that you have yet to share the cause of is minor or cosmetic)Given your newness to RVs and lack of diagnostic and repair abilities, I’d suggest trying to find a friend or acquaintance who is knowledgeable enough to steer you in the right direction.
This sounds like my nice neighbors.
Older couple. Took their camper in for new tires. Les Schwab’s (the CW of tire shops) told them the camper brakes were bad. To sell them $$$$ new brakes like they do to everyone. (Becuase he asked them to look at it because the brakes didn’t work when he towed over there after it using it for years.)I checked them wi the my truck. Camper brakes worked perfectly.
He took it back to another shop. And they said it’s the brake controller in the truck is bad.
I tested and got erratic voltage readings. Had him get a new controller and I installed it for them (I should have diagnosed properly but didn’t).
Same result.
Then when I began to diagnose it was a rusty loose wire connection due to a poor install (by a shop years ago). 5 min later it was fixed.
I cost him $100 by not diagnosing properly. The 2 shops would have charged him a couple grand and maybe fixed connection inthe end.
