I had one HappiJac fully extend itself at night while parked in the garage. Not 100% sure of the cause, but found that the Ethernet connector (female that you plug the remote cord into) was corroded. My guess is that during wet & foggy weather there was a short in the connector. I replaced the connector, (available at Radio Shack and elsewhere) and have not had a recurrence. Take a good look at the tiny wires inside the female end of the plug. If they are the least bit corroded, replace the plug. It's an easy, cheap fix, worth doing even as troubleshooting. Tom McCloud
