Indoor storage facilities

I'm looking for indoor storage, not heated, for my 30' travel trailer somewhere close to nw Indiana or just over the border in Illinois. Not the usual us store type of places as they are way too pricey. I'm looking for a warehouse type facility. Maybe a pole barn that a landscaper rents out in the winter. HELP
  • Try calling some local fairgrounds to see if they have winter storage indoors. We hadn't even picked up our new Jayco yet and had the indoor storage at the local fairgrounds all set up.

    Good luck!

  • This is a real good idea. It cost us about $80/month. The biggest drawback is that our fairgrounds has a no access policy for 5 months.

If I remember correctly, it is a $10 access charge during the winter if you need to get to the trailer.

For us it is $2/ft for the concrete floor, $1.75/ft for the dirt floor. I plan on buying a stall mat and cutting it into 1' x 6' strips for the tires to sit on.

What do you consider as too pricey?
